Pulse Of Perseverance

Dr. Johnson is committed to being positive role models for future generations, Pierre co-authored Pulse of Perseverance- Three Black Doctors on their Journey to Success with Dr. Joseph Semien and Dr. Maxime Madhere. The brotherhood of doctors made a pact to help each other graduate from medical school, and have traveled the country motivating future leaders with their story of resilience. Through The Pulse of Perseverance Foundation, the doctors have provided monthly scholarships to well-deserving youth for more than four years.

The Pulse of Perseverance doctors have appeared on multiple television platforms including NBC Today Show, The Steve Harvey Show, and ABC World News, and highlighted in prominent publications including Ebony Magazine, The New York Times, and USA Today. Their crusade is to tell a new story by redefining the negative narrative and stereotypes of young black males.
